All proceeds from my latest book “My Mind Wandered~and it never came back” will be donated to America’s Second Harvest Food Bank. The book may be purchased online at LuLu.com
Buy the book, share some laughs and help feed a hungry child or save an elderly person the need to choose between food or their medication. Over 25 million Americans suffer from hunger. Every dollar we can give to Second Harvest Food Bank helps!
Thank you and God Bless,

This photo was taken at the 2008 Newspaper awards Banquet in Green County. (The magazine is of course a phony, but the award isn’t. ) Newspaper Editor, Dustin Street and I both won awards that year for our features on education that appeared in The Beacon. The Award For Excellence in Education Reporting was something both Dustin and I were very proud of.
The feature that won the award for me was titled “Foreign Exchange Program brings love to Unicoi Family” and it was written about an exchange student named Mai who came from Thailand to attend school in our county. The entire family fell in love with her and they were heart-broken when she had to return to her home-land. However Mai has promised to return when she finishes her classes there. She is planning to attend college here as well.
Now, sit back and enjoy the awards show starring some of my favorite blogs. You’re welcome.
